There Are 3 Months Left in the Year? What's Your Resolution?
It is the first day of a new month, and a new quarter. We are about a week into a new season. There are 3 months - 1 quarter - only 91 days left until we turn the calendar to to the New Year.
For some, that is a reason to panic. Only 3 months left to accomplish what you wanted to get done for the year. The good news is, there is no reason to panic. You still have plenty of time to assess your goals for the rest of the year, and make sure you are working on the goals that truly matter - those that will make the rest of this year and maybe even future years -worth doing!
Too often, we start the year with some ambitious objectives. Lots of goals that pull us in different directions, and not all of them moving you forward.
So now, with about 90 days left in the year, what are you going to focus on getting done? What one or two things can you work on that might really move the needle for you? If you are in sales, where are you for your yearly numbers and what can you do to make that year-end bonus check something to really cheer about? If you are a business owner, are all of your people "pushing on the same side of the box?" And is the side of the box they are pushing on the right one? NOW is the time to do a quick check and see what adjustments need to be made to end the year with a BANG!
Not sure how to make that BANG happen? You are certainly not alone. Many business owners literally wake up every morning and hope that is the day they are going to get that BIG deal that is going to help make the year. Heck, retail even has a day where the year typically turns around for it - its Black Friday. Sadly, that day doesn't happen until late November! Imagine running your business and not turning a profit until late November and hoping December is a good sales month! Crazy.
